I am with my girlfriend on vacation in Hungary and in a antique store o found these items, i was wondering if anyone can identify them and tell me if they are real or fake! I know the medal and pic is not in this forum part but i didn't know where i should post the medal.

Belt buckle close up on SS stamp with numbers (which my girlfriend decided to rubb with spit while i was on a toilet... lol...)

The buckle is a known fake pattern. Note the chest feathers and the lack of rope border behind the eagles head. New red rust too.

    Medal: no idea.

Photo: 1936 Olympic Games I suspect.

    Cheers, Ade.

As Ade stated the buckle is a fake, have a look at this thread, it may give you a few hints

Thanks Ben, that is a very good thread, i will study it closer when i get back to Sweden. Thank you Adrian! At least the medal was not fake and the photo is interesting. I only payed 15 dollars for the buckle, so i can have it in my collection as a replica. Thanks very much for identifying the medal and the buckle!
