Early Nickel SS buckle and belt

Hi i don't see any marking near the belt hook
the only marking is the one ive but up

I can see a SS circled marking on the reverse near the hook, I think....

Nice set. I usually stay away from SS marked leather but I think this is a good. I almost bought a set with the same VT marking but a 38.

thanks guys, i was told the SS was used instead of the runes on the early belts

it smells like 75 years old lol
