A seldom seen and extremely rare buckle. In my opinion, 100% original. The buckle has of course lost the distinctive silver paint that was once applied, although this matters not.

Extremely rare and eagerly sought after.

I have never seen before that scarce buckle. I don't think that the fakes is exists, if they exists, they will be obviously seen in the market, no one faker makes just a couple of exemplars. Also the buckle construction looks to be as a period made items.
