Maybe I should add that the buckle is advertised as dug out...I think it could be the reason of that surface dirt...?

Ben: Bet I am just sharpening my teeth... :-)
I haven't seen a good SS em buckle for $200.00 since the 1990's...where are they and what is the price range now??!
To be serious I must say I was really suprised with that offer...especially more that it seems to be genuine (as you confirmed and I hope it is!) When I get it, I will upload more photos if you want.

Sorry guys, but I cannot post any additional photos..I was beaten in that auction:-((((( There were no bids, but in a last minute...pure madness!!! (final price was about 350 dollars)
But it means one thing..It was nice original piece as you told me. This was last impuls for me to make a donation to this forum...Now I clearly see it´s sense. I am really happy to share this space with you.
Thank you for everything.
Shame you lost it, at $350 it was still a good price, would have cleaned up nicely
Ben
