I'm more of a textiles guy, and this buckle is outside of my area. I've looked through the pinned threads but I'm starting to go cross-eyed, so I'd appreciate your opinions. The buckle front is zinc, while the catch plate affixed on the back is aluminum...

Arran, not a fan to be honest, for me a fake same as this one but yours has been painted and aged
