If you look through the SS fake buckles thread you will see a series of these fakes, they are taken from originals so they are very good and hard to detect!

Omg I have so much to learn! I would have bought this one if I had found it in a antique shop! To me it looks good, and when a question like this is posted here, I try to judge for myself what I see, without reading the anwsers of the members who know the fakes. Does that make sense? Trying to educate myself here, but this one would have fooled me all day long, it looks good to me.
I think I still have many, many years of studying to go.

Thank you Ben, always good to learn from collectors who know. Sometime I think it is very depressing there are so many being faked, for people like me who just start colleting it is very difficult to tell the difference. I have lost all my trust in ebay sellers, even antique dealers who say they don`t now if it is real. Pitty it is a mine field collecting original stuff.
