question on ss officers buckle

I am curious about an ss officers buckle I have that has no markings on the back side.Has anyone ever encountered this before?I had a well known ss expert look at this about 10 years ago,and tell me the buckle was good.I cannot supply a picture
at this time, because it is still packed away from our move to Florida.I will try and dig it out soon,but if you can tell me your opinions,I would be most appreciative.

I know the pictures are not good,and I will try to get better ones.However,my question to the forum is, have you known of examples that
are not marked?The buckle has already been authenticated.Let me know .

To be honest off the top of my head I cannot recall seeing a SS officers buckle without markings, but there must be some around, it would be interesting to see better pics of the one you have posted.

Peter the rear of the buckle is not that clear but to be honest I do not like the crimp on the buckle

Just to show you what I mean compare the crimps on this known original buckle to the one you have posted. Again yours could be original and possibly are rare one. For me personally from the pics provided I do not like it JMO

Another red flag that I do not like is the prong sleeve assembly, again look at the known original and see have straight the sleeve is between the prongs, then look at yours and it seems from the pics that the ends "curl" up, again this is a red flag that I look for in a fake buckle whether EM or Officer.
