    Hi David and Markus

I already posted this buckle in another thread on the subject which I can't find it at the moment - another unmarked but which I believe by the great photomerge pics you provided to be Aurich as well (photos are overexposed but the eagle's head does seem at least similar). The prongs are very pointed as well.

    Best regards, Kurt

    Dear Kurt

There is another Overhoff v Aurich RLB thread somewhere, although I cannot for the life of me find it. Here is a close photo merge of the respective eagles and I think that there are various differences to the respective designs.

    Regards,

    David

Many thanks for the photomerge, in which the different heads of the Aurich and the Overhoff come out very clearly. What I wanted to say in my earlier post is that, although my photographs are overexposed, I believe my unmarked buckle has an Aurich-style head as well.

    Best regards, Kurt
