I like the buckle but I do not like the paper tag, it looks like thick paper and not card, compare it to this original, that is my opinion though, others may have other thoughts

Original type I 155/40. Harder to find than the type 2. There is also what might be called a type 3 with a crank catch. JP posted one that belonged to Mar V on a WAF thread in 07. It is the only crank catch SS I have ever seen.

Could it be that the paper in question was a late war issue (thinner)? just wondering but i too am liking this buckle
