SS belt buckle: 822/38: real or fake ?

I have until monday morning 09:30 to decide if i am to purchase this item and am hoping for a little help lol could someone please look at the pics and let me know your thoughts as to is this a real SS belt buckle or fake ? all help is gratefully needed

The metal is quite grey, look at the post sleeve how the ends arch up where it meets the prongs, and the markings are not that good, from the pics I would throw smoke and go left flanking, not a good one IMO

Thanks for the pics Ade, the buckle you have shown is a different variant to the one initially shown, there are actually three variants of this buckle, all to do with the lettering, the example you posted Ade is tyhe "big block" version due to the size of the lettering
