SS Belt genuine

This belt I think is original and marking old but I doubt SS 201/38 RZM. SS do not think is synonymous with SS rune.
I want the opinion of some experienced collectors who have seen these symbols .

Not only do the markings look off, but the belt itself is pretty glossy bright and smooth for a piece of leather that is over 68 years old.

I don't care for the markings but the belt being smooth and glossy doesn't mean anything. I have had boots and belts from the late 1800's they were smooth and glossy. If it smells new that is a different matter.
