    SS Police Degen

Again mobile but the link above has pictures of the symbol on my police degen. I has the angled corners and would say by the looks of the stamp on belt it matches the tool stamped SS Allach that Kirby mentioned. I am not an expert on the SS leather practices but my vote in looking at the 95 stamp and the SS depression into the leather it was added later and not factory. I assume there are no makers marks or name stamped into he belt? Not saying it is not an SS belt but have seen many belts and this one might have been added later by owner of belt. I am puzzled as it just seems an odd place to add the SS Allach Rune.

Thoughts? Maybe I am over thinking?

Oops! Sorry Ralph...missed your thread post URL. Did not see it on my iPhone. Did not mean to trip over threads.

The same mark can be seen stamped on the top of the throat of this scabbard, and the bottom of the langet of this sword. It is the runes inside a square with cropped corners.

I don't think the stamp is SS. If I recall it was the stamp of the designer. I will have to check Whittmann's SS dagger book. No reason for being on a belt.

The buckle is a nice one and at a good price. The belt is original and you really got it for free.

Oh I trust you 100% Ben, I just thought I should post it when I got it.
I'm not worried about it at all, I just figured I would add more photos and what not. It's got the right feeling and I don't doubt it one bit!

Here is a link of a cross strap marked with the SS Allach Rune under RZM number. L2/256/38. I believe this was one Bill Shea had at one point. Anyway here is the URL and it stamped in leather as a reference point.
