Opinion are fine but explain why? The biggest problem on this forum is guys saying a piece is fake with no explanation. Hope that makes sense?

I just was agreeing with what the others were saying. Apparent casting flaws on the swas and eagle's chest. Thick markings on the back. My own assessment led me to view those features as flaws as well, probably conditioned by what other members had already stated, members who by the way seem way more experienced than me. For me in that moment, I did know what I was saying. I don't think anyone here makes up things for the sake of it, and whoever does, well shame on them.

I apologize for my wrong assessment and I will indeed be more cautious in the future.

I hope Dok is still able to purchase the piece.

As Ben has stated, Opinions are healthy for discussion but to say "Fake" before a hearing or roundtable is reckless to say the least.. G

Seems to be quite a lot of this lately. Everyone is entitled to their opinion...but sometimes best to avoid comment if it is not your "area" of expertise.

By the way..the buckle is beautiful
