SS buckle 822/38- molded fake?

my friend asked me if I could post photo of this buckle for review. In my opinion it is obviously FAKE, am I right?

The surface really does not look to me like alluminium...?!

Its a hard call but I think it is a ground dug original or its been in or near a fire

i just looked at the SS sticky thread and see that there are many originals with th ss in circle, is it only questionable if an SS is stamped on a belt?

SS in a diamond/Rhombus is a 100 % sign for fakes, no original ss buckles have this.
