SS buckle, fake?
Hey all - I was emailed recently by a thoroughly unreliable dealer, who showed me pictures of his 'German collection'. I decided to ask for pictures of two skulls, two eagles and a buckle anyway, just to be on the safe side, and sure enough the skulls were awful, and the eagles were covered with SS markings inside diamonds. The buckle itself I'm not too sure about; I'm not that familiar with the maker's marks of buckles but I'm not certain that they put the actual SS symbol on them. So, I am very, very easily convinced that this is a fake, but I'd love your opinions on it first. Thanks, Robbie.

Well done on posting it here first Robbie, I am glad that you didn't part with any money beforehand. Always best to check.

Re: SS buckle, fake?
Thank you! It's great to have this community available to help. As it happens, I'm just about to post the last assortment of items on the forum from this seller - I'm still hoping one item will be surprisingly real, against all odds.

Re: SS buckle, fake?
If he is trying to sell these items as 100% 'originals',
it might be good to reveal the source.........
