Welcome to the forum and we look forward to future posts from yourself.

Could you provide images of the whole buckle to include the obverse, reverse, pin shroud, claws etc. ?

    They would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards,

    David

With all due respect, be careful and please do not dismiss this buckle outright !

Have a look on page three of the fake SS buckle thread, there is another example in there with bad Assmann markings on it!

I must agree with Dimas and Ben, having trawled through my fake SS data base - a fake. The type of brazed "C" caught me on the wrong foot !

It is very puzzling however that you say "it given to me by my grandfather who bought it back with him along with other items at end of ww2".

Still look forward to other posts from yourself.
