Re: SS buckle markings
My point is that the steel buckles was newer been made in the shape of early nickel type buckles. Also the added fake stamps: the digits are exact soviet 70-90's made font.

Ben
The images have indeed been removed. Having said that, I have retained copies.
Tankie
No one has in any sense whatsoever called you a liar. I was plodding in my response, however Dimas and Ben (who know SS buckles well) instantly recognised this SS buckle as a fake. Again, welcome to the forum and we look forward to your future posts.

David

Tankie, I echo Davids comments, no one is calling anyone a liar, guys here will give you an opinion as to whether an item is genuine or indeed fake according to their personal experience, if you do not like what has been said then that cannot be helped.

Tankie
Without being overly sentimental or patronising, hold the buckle dearly and cherish it as a memory of your Grandfather.
We do however look forward to future posts from yourself.

David
