Thanks guys
What sort of price should I offer for it???
Any idea as he wants me to make an offer for it.
start with $100
I feel that if I offer him $100 which is about £70 sterling I will insult him! The last SS buckle I bought I payed £220 for. I like a bargain like most, however I do not want to feel that I have ripped him off!!
Remember condition plays a part in any collectible! You should never shy away from a legimate offer for any piece you buy!Maybe he got it cheaper than you think. You paid almost $300.00 for the other buckle so make him an offer and he can say no or yes! Then you can go through the old stuff of offer- counter offer.Dont get that i hope i dont insult him thing.!!IMO.Carl PS Really nice ones can go for $500-600 and up.but those are in exc.+ -near mint (hard to find in NM).Have a site which has archival pieces and another part with different services buckles for sale.Very easy to see whats what and also has SS buckles that are painted field green which are hard to come by.
Thanks guys I will see what he says??
