SS EM 36/42 fake for 500 eur???

A lot of dealers don't a clue about buckles. I bought my 36/43 from a dealer for the price of an unmarked Overhoff. I pulled up the forum and was looking at the buckle in the SS makers sticky thread. It looked identical so I get a rare buckle at bargain.
Another dealer I know has a bunch of SS buckles priced at about half the price of original. By using the info on the forum I get a aluminum 36/40 for about a third of the real value. One real one in with a bunch of repo crap.

You can use these forum to your advantage to spot the fakes and to spot the real thing.
