Just arrived today !!!!! I can not find any markings at all on the buckle, even under the role..... the belt is either dated 43 or 45, hard to tell. one angle looks like 3, other angles a 5. I have to work and did not have time to remove buckle from belt, lol ......... i am really pleased with this belt and buckle , i love used " been there" items!
Can you post pics of the rear of the buckle? And if possible under the roller bar and the catch area?
Ben
Ben, i posted pics of the reverse side from the seller at the start of the post. I am at work now, i will try and take my own pictures in better light and get them up tom. I gave it a really good look over, i can not find any markings, even under the roller bar. There is a build up of surface rust which could be hiding them if they were not stamped very hard. Didn't Assman produce unmaked as well? Either way, this is a great piece and 100% original.
Ben,
I just cleaned under the roller with a Q-tip, found them 155/44.
Well had my Wife, clean.... she text me, lol !

I had no idea that the painted EM buckles were rare, but now that you mention it, this is the first one i have ever seen...... how rare are they?
