SS Officer buckle

Hi all,
I looked through the authentic and repro threads of ss belt buckles and the books I own without being able to find anything like this. The collectors guild has one on there site with the same Rzm style. I have had it for a while now. The seller told me it was from a "vet" and the vet told him a "tank" ran it over.(yeah right ) Anyways he's willing to take it back for an exhange on a item I know to be authentic. Just wanted to see if anyone here knows anything about this. Thanks

Not familiar with SS Officers buckles, but I do not like the look
of the RZM logo. Someone will be along soon to correct me
if I'm wrong.........

Thanks all. I was wondering if Ben Evans could speak on this? I know he has much knowledge on these type of items. Also it would make it possible to add this into either the real or fake on-going forum on ss belt buckles. I know from other references this type of rzm stamp was used on these buckles at one point, may be slightly different though?

I agree the stamp looks to small and off center

As to it looking off centered, this buckle is badly bent and that is the cause for this effect.

Good morning guys, just picked this up, the buckle is indeed a fake, compare to some of the buckles in the SS makers thread and compare it with them even with the early nickel buckles. Talking of threads can you post this buckle in the fake SS thread please?
