SS officers belt buckle.

Hi,

This SS-officers belt buckle was presented to me today.
...he wanted to know - what's the right price for this belt buckle?

I said, I am not into SS-items, but I know where to find the answer.
...WRF - of course.

Belt buckle is made from nickel, and found in a forest at Middelfart in Denmark.

What do you think?

Relace have a look around various sites at dealer prices for this type of buckle it will give you a rough idea. The buckle is not in very good condition but with it being a hard to come by buckle it may hold its price, hence the prices for this type of buckle fluctuates!

I heard from the guy with the belt buckle again today.
A buyer in the US has offered him 380 USD.
...sound like he is gonna let him have it.

Is this price okay?

No, just saying I would pay 380usd for it. I'm not a belt buckle collector, therefore I could be incorrect, but I've yet to find a SS officer buckle in this condition for said price no matter which maker it was. I need one for a uniform, too.

As Ben said, the condition isn't great. With that said, these buckles can go for thousands when in good condition. I believe this variant isn't common, either.

I am not buying this belt buckle.
...do not collect SS-items - they are so expensive!

I was offered this belt buckle, but said no thanks, I am not interested.

Then I thought, perhaps someone at WRF could be interested - SS officers belt buckles are not seen often.
