A True Mint Buckle

Article about: Please say hello to my new friend.... an OLC SS Officer's 36/43 with 100% finish - can't find these today and the first time I have seen one so pristine. Hope you enjoy the pics.

    JP - good information towards handling buckles, especially Zinc types, with cotton gloves. I actually now handle all my artifacts with gloves to prevent skin oil getting on items as over time it really does a number on them. How many times have you gone to a show looking for buckles and see
    finger prints all over them... HJ are notorious for showing finger prints. Other items that get heavily fingered are the visors of caps and bluing on guns where oft times you have permanent finger prints on them?

    And yes JP... Dan is very happy.
