Hi guys, I have been away for a couple of days, family emergency I dont collect Officer buckles to be honest and they are not my strong forte, I stick to EM buckles, but IMO both the buckles are good, I dont see any red flags, I have put two good fakes in the Rouges Gallery if interested, they would be good for comparison

Both Francesco SS buckles are original. The first is the most common stamped aluminum (beautiful belt by the way) and the zinc models were manufactured with an aluminum paint finish which overtime flakes off causing the effect displayed by the second buckle. The Overhoff firm was the most prolific maker of SS Officer buckles.

    Hello All,
I'm a new member here and I'm from Germany.
I'm collecting belt-buckles only from German Combat troops between 1935 -1945.

My only deficit is the English language.. It's long time ago, that I've learned it.. But I'll try my very best..

    BTW...
These two buckles are Original.. I like them, because both were in very good condition.
