In principle the buckle looks ok but I would like pics of the rear to be sure, looks like a Nickel Overhoff but pics of rear are needed, also better pics of the belt if you can get them?

Unfortunately those are the only pics I have. I guess if I want this one bad enough I'll just have to take a chance! (depending on the price of course ) Thanks alot for the help, I really appreciate it!

Does anyone know where I might be able to find more of this white SS gear? (Like in the photo) I'm mainly looking for the belts, but I'd take a look at the other stuff too

Checked out a full white set at the max show 6-7 years ago. As I remember it was very well marked and had some LAH ink stamping on the leather. The dealer was asking big time money. I wouldn't pay very much for a denazified buckle and I would want to see a lot of photos of the belt.

There are some pics and additional info in the book "Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler" by Stan Cook and R.James Bender, pages 357-361 which will give you a good outline of what was available to be worn at the time together with what you should be looking for in the way of markings etc.
As far as I am aware the white belt could also be worn by the police too and this carried forward into the postwar period, so you have to be careful.
The easiest bit to come across is the bayonet frog but what spoils the white equipment (for me) is that the white finish on the belt is brittle, like patent leather and apt to flake off, and unlike the regular black belts, you can't just restore them with a good dose of polish.
Also, as the buckle in the pics provided looks good but too far gone for my taste, I would be going with the previous posters re cost and condition.

I would suggest that any collector should be jolly careful when it comes to the possibility of securing the very rare match of an SS buckle with an original "white" strap. As mentioned by Bochmann, the police on occasions (I think Ordnungspolizei and within the Wachtmeister rank table - this needs to be clarified by a "police" expert) wore the white strap. A very common mark is A Fischer Berlin C2 who seemed to specialise in police related white leather items. I presume that a white leather SS strap would have organisation specific (SS) markings. There is however a known fake white leather strap which purports to be SS related and which is stamped A Fischer Berlin C2 - a year stamp - LSSAH.
