Hiya

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, but I have a group of friends over, and it's hard to get away
Yesterday I took the helmet on another boat trip, this time to "Skageneset".
During the war, a widow with 3 children lived here. A local contact from the Norwegian resistance persuaded the woman to join in on hiding refugees who were going to travel over the North Sea. A total of 105 people went through this place during the war.



Today, it visited the West-Norwegian emigration center, and went on a hiking trip:





Tomorrow, it will be visiting Bergen city

I think that by its first anniversary the 1000 post helmet will have left Europe, by its second it will be almost done with the North American lads and then off to the great southern land. Andy will get it back sometime in 2015
... we hope. :-)
