Is the liner in the helmet on the left really that white, or was that caused by the flash of your camera?

The flash does make it look really white but they are still a good white color.

Combat liner in one and civic in the other in very good condition. That is the way you want to get them friend. You have done very well.

But did some research to make sure and everything was good.

Does the leather used in your Luftschutz w/ combat liner seem to be of a lower quality than the leather liners in standard military issue M35-M42 helmets?

Sorry for all the questions. I'm trying to compare your luftschutz to mine. I feel like the combat liner in mine is a thinner type of leather... maybe even made from a different type of animal.

You will find that the leather liners can vary in thickness in quite a few helmets, and Chris, you mate , are a steely eyed missile man, two in the space of a few days, you are definately spending the babys pocket money, but it was worth it
