additional pickups from seller of Heer M42

Article about: Bought this Luftwaffe M42 ckl 62 from the same guy I bought the Heer M42 from. This stuff was brought back by a member of the RCHA in 1945. He had already sold before I saw them an SS helmet

All the helmets i have found during the years used a thin white shoe string type of thread to hold their lining top upright. I believe it should be possible for you to find such a piece of any ww2 original string from a dealer.

Ratisbons upcoming auction has not one but two lots of original draw strings - one group of 10 and one group of 3.
I've seen these draw strings go for good money - £35+ Personally I think a non-authentic replacement is acceptable.
