Original helmets were repainted and reused by army post-war

... You know well this aspect ... there are many shell in the world that are good only for reproduction ... helmet was already ruined when reproduction was made ...

Ah too bad it was reissued post war. Oh well, not much one can do then.

I think they are one of those famous Finnish shell's ... because shells are not repaired and are 100% original

EXAMPLE : I have an M42 "ET & Ckl - Eisenhuttenwerk, Thale "... which shows that small manufacturing defect ... it is a little deformation on the right/LEFT side of the helmet, in the right/left ear ... that little deformation appears at all M42 helmets manufactured by ET / CKL ... and it is impossible to replicate !

All helmets below ar ET & Ckl - Eisenhuttenwerk, Thale ... The first is my original shell + repro paint-job ( CKL66 )
