Advice on LW M35

Article about: I bought the illustrated M35 from a local antique market. It came as a shell with detached liner, and no cotter pins, though I'm pretty sure they're matching, and given the price (£190), an

    Personal i think, its a nice helmet to display. I would not mess with it, maybe you destroy more than you „repair“. And for that price, its a very good find.

    Many thanks for the valued input, and the offer of cotter pins. I'll give the matter further consideration in the light of the input, but am perhaps inclined not to bother adding original cotter pins.
    For those interested the manufacturer / size stamp is rather feintly impressed, but appears to be ET 64.
