My advice would definitely be to get a much bigger helmet..........or at least a much longer chin strap.

Good helmet without question , price of 800 USD as initially given by another member is pretty good on the mark.

And yes the smell test is important , I do it with every helmet I get in my hands.

i like this sd heer m42 too. it seems it has not been messed with.
and the price the guys have been saying seems right.
when you ready to sell it just check again on what these helmets are going for. in this condition i can see it selling fast. if the price is right.
at least im not the only one with a big head out there. like your style. welcome. or maybe keep this helmet and get more. ha ha
