Hello All
This helmet went for 182 GBP. The seller paid 100 GBP six days previously. Not a bad profit for something with a dodgy
liner & a fabricated description. If "most of us knew" about the time saving measures adopted in 1944/5 why would the
seller stress that the liner is "not post war" in his blurb unless he knew it was. Anyway this "untuched Navel" helmet
will soon be winging its way to its proud new owner.
Regards
Brett
Well I guess the seller saw an opportunity and took it. It's a pity the story sold the helmet though. The seller would have known its dodgy but the story wasn't you believable to effect the sale. I feel sorry for the buyer but it happens all the time.
