another fake HJ helmet ?

Recently got this HJ helmet . Its got ET 60 stamp on the metal and 53 inner. Galvanised inner retainer and the HJ decal only on the left side. Rust is coming trough on the lower rear. Could it be real? Its very small , I doubt any adult could get it on. There is a crack coming from the rim.

Close ups of the decal for the "experts" please. The liner looks like a replacement. It might even be a "repro" IMO. It has not been worn very much. The "53" size stamp looks too new to be consistent with the wear on the liner rim. It looks brand new to me. Maybe a HJ member that never washed his hair of face?

Well I can only speak for myself here but I have never seen or heard of a HJ diamond decal, or ever seen one applied to a helmet, well thats period anyways. I dont like the wear pattern on the decal and the inside wear has been forced on the liner.

A small size 60 is a nice little lid, but doesn't have any relation to the HJ, just a solider with a small peanut

I'm not aware of a HJ decal for helmets. I'm sure if there was one, Ken N. would have it covered in his book. Does anyone else think it looks like a repaint?

As far as I know, there is no such thing as a real decaled HJ helmet.

I do not think the liner is original.

Jim does have a great one.
It is the only real one I have ever seen.

Whenever I see a topic with "HJ helmet" it's a fake.
If there really existed such a decal someone would have seen it by know.
