I don't particularly collect bullet hit helmets for reason given above but at least you can tell this one was probably shot during the period and it's still a nice helmet and worth having for the interest effect and just wondering that if it was worn, did the soldier survive or not, Ray

I'm not a helmet collector, I've only got nine and they take up a lot of room in my collection! However, I recently aquired this relic shell. It has two holes in it one of which looks like a bullet hole and the other is smaller. The relic is pretty fragile and has no remains of a liner. Can anyone tell me if this is the remains of a para helmet?
