Beach trip finds

Article about: The chinstrap (not the leather holding the strap) looks like the actual strap maybe it came off, the little metal buckle looks just like the ones on the fire helmets.

The Hitler Youth knife scabbard looks like a repro. I am not sure about the rest of the dagger better pictures are needed. The helmet is a nice firemans and is in good condition

I also think it is a repro but the dagger itself is good

Any ideas on the helmet chinstrap?

    I agree about the scabbard.
The grip plates have been removed at one time as you can see the grind marks on the back of it and copper rivets used.
    Not seen on Robert Klaas.

I haven't seen one like this before it is definitely a period chinstrap but how old is the helmet is my thought now It's odd it has so many loops for the neck flap it looks like it is most likely ww2 though the liner is in excellent condition
