Yeh I was pretty happy to get one personalised, I like the human touch....I would put pics up but the helmet is in storage with most of my collection

Nice original. I have a dead mint beaded M40 Luftschutze named to a female, Inge Hess. It's the only helmet I've ever seen named to a woman!

Yeah Rene, that's a good way to do it. A lot of people sell something because they need to pay bills but trade ensures the continuous collection.

Even with the luftschutz lids you only go for the rare and best Doug no relation?

Yeah really! That would be cool if there were a relation, but thats a pretty common German name. One of my good friends last name is Hess.
