The best Jersey camo helmet ever.

I bought this helmet many years ago from a well know local family who I had known since childhood. When I first saw it I knew I had to own it and said if they ever decided to part with it I was a willing buyer. A year or so went by and I got a call to say if i wanted it the price was £100. In those days £100 was my whole weeks wages. Anyway, I bought it. It truly is a superb helmet and I don't think there is anything anyone can say bad about it. I will buy helmets like this all day long.... if only!!!
I have just unwrapped it as its kept stored away and its the first time I have seen it for 8 years or so. It is so right, so bright and so un-messed with. That is part of the beauty of living on an island once Occupied by the Germans, we get to see kit that has not been in dealers hands a million times and played with.
I am still as happy to own this helmet today as I was back when I bought it 30 odd years ago.

wow...... I seriously love this one mate. Another good thing about the stuff from the islands is that it never saw combat, hence the beautiful condition. I'd say drop me a line if you ever want to sell it but I don't think I would be able to pay without selling some organs, I'd certainly give you a weeks wages for it in a heartbeat! Superb untouched lid!

Looks superb, nice patination to the paint and ghosting under the wire, nice wear under the wire. This reminds me of the helmets that come from Norway, some real gems found there from an occupying army that never saw combat either which were left behind.
