A book NOT to buy in 2014 : Normandy 1944

Article about: Just wanted to highlight this book again, I had it in my hands when it was released 2 years ago and browsed it again yesterday. It contains more than 35% of fake camo helmets. As a reference

Still IMO a book to still have in a collector / teachers library..discerning the trash it portrays..and also a point of reference as we have seen on some of "Stonemints" fake head gear threads. Some collectors purposely have fakes in their collection as a tool of study for those who dont know the difference. I would not pay high dollar for this book..but if comes 3rd hand..then maybe. Regards Larry

I heard he is some sort re-enactor and that he is portrayed in the well known militaria magazine.

i would not buy it just so that the author does not reap a profit from it. But if it is for sale as cheap as a role of toilet paper I may change my mind :-)

Must be pretty bad as the reviews it is getting all over my friend was thinking about a copy guess he should reconsider I agree with Larry I would buy it at a used price on Amazon some day just to have. I thought the Radovic books were good stuff until I got a couple of them and I see why it doesn't have the best review bought those used at under price also and glad I did. timothy
