Burlap/hessian camo

Article about: Hey guys, Not sure if I'm posting in the correct area, but I was after some information regarding the use of burlap or hessian as a form of camo during WW2 by the German soldier. Can anyone

    Was the burlap held in place only by chicken wire ? I have never seen photo of burlap held by anything else.

    Wow Chris.. I'd love to see some more photos of that one! Very interesting for sure and the first camo with burlap I have seen.

    Those that I have seen were being held by the Chicken wire.

    Thank you Josh.
    I have had collector who love it and other who say it was not good.
    I got it has a kid in Normandy from a farmer friend of mine who had it in one of his barns.

    I have a book here at home that features a burlap cover, held down by a half basket and sprayed with a Normandy style camo. Beautiful helmet!

    It looks like a Normandy beach Chris. I can't think where else it could be, especially with the long flat beach and the obstacles like that.

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
