Well, it sold for $375 and that was a little more than I was willing to go without knowing 100% certain that it was real. I did by a US canteen that is stamped 1918. Not sure if that's worth anything?

But as I bought myself a couples of helmets from Ebay.de, which was for sale with bad pictures and the sellers, do not provide me with the better pictures being sales period, I've just make the risk bids and won a absolutely bad items. Even this helmet looks like a honest one, do not bid if the seller do not provide with a better quality pictures.
