Camo Heer M40 - opinions

Hi,

I've been offered this helmet, would like to know what you think before I bid on it.

It looks good to me, but my eyes aren't that trained so I could use some expertise

Appr. value/how much should I bid when authenticity confirmed (max.)?

To me it looks good, but I'm not that in to camos.
The decal to me look's find of "fat" (wich make I don't like)

But wait for someone with a little more experience with camos than me

This type of camo is Normandy camouflage right? How scarce are they on scale of 1 (not scarce) to 10 (extremely scarce)?
I'm really interested in this lid, but I don't want to buy a bag of air!

The fact that you cant enlarge the photos doesnt help, much closer pics are needed re the decal and paint, liner etc

Agreed, it has a chance though, not a one look fake. The decal looks like it was liberated.

Although not a 100% deciding factor on authenticity, the price may indicate good or bad, if this lid is good i would expect a very high price tag, I'm sure that Jim or Frank, Doug etc would have a comment or two, but for some reason theres alarm bells ringing in my ears.

There's very little to go on here, I'd pass based on what I see. The decal doesn't inspire a lot of confidence and the entire helmet looks messed with in particular the liner leather appears replaced.

Okay here they are, hope they're enough for a go or a no. Liner is claimed to be original to the shell. Maker is NS Nickelwerke.
