I mistakenly thought Oberschütze was only a waffen ss rank, but it was used by the Luftwaffe and Heer. If it's from the Channel islands you can draw your own conclusions as i understand there were only a handfull of ss guards on Alderney!...

I noticed somewhere someone had given this the ss once over, but I was never sure. So good to hear you concur with my thoughts, although ss would be nice I tend to believe its just an army camo.

I think you are right as i reckon the SS guards wouldn't bother with camo. Great lid BTW.

Great colours,i rarely go near a cammo but this one is the real deal! How many helmets do you have in total? Or have you lost count!
