The paint look very new to me, but I am not an expert at all.

Judging by the internal rim of the helmet i would say its possible thats fake as well, are there any markings on the inside of the helmet just below the right chin strap post, ?

What do you mean with "re-lined"?

There is a mark on the left side. Looks like "LT6". I am attaching some more pictures.

This is a total replica/repro/fake, top to bottom !
Nothing real about this piece. It is of recent Chinese manufacture.

Yes, agree witrh all the comments made, unfortunately its a bad fake, i hope you can get your money back if you have bought this. Relined basically means that a liner has been added, whether its a period one or replica

It's definitely a repro, and a very poor quality one at that! Glad it didn't set you back too much money , but I'm not sure you will have much luck selling it on.
