can someone explain this?

Article about: Jas this been 'restored' in a sense? Has all the value been killed? Or is it just a fake? Help a noob out!

    This helmet has already come back up twice on the Russian site where I found it. At first they were asking 1500rub ($44), then 1400 ($41) and now 1200rub ($35)...

    Definitely repainted relic helmet looks to me like color isn't even close to ww2 paint. timothy

    I think they prepared it for restoration then got bored and are trying to sell it.

    This one is just as bad a helmet as a fake one imo.

    When you hold an Item, a relic for example, you get to "feel" the history. Which is the best part about collecting. When you mess with it, paint it like this, you somehow muffle and cover the history you feel when you hold it like the paint is doing to the relic.

    If that makes sense. That's how I feel about it. I wouldn't want it for my collection.
