Civil helmet converted to Red Cross helmet?

Hey guys,

I just don't know with this helmet.
Looks like a late war liner, but can the decal and red cross be legit?
It's possible, but I don't trust my judgement.

I would walk away. These round bottom DRK decals are HIGHLY controversial. Most think they are all fake. Some think there are some good ones out there.

Do a quick search on the forum to do some studying.

As for this helmet. I don't like it but there really is no direct photo of the decal. And I would not expect both a "combat medic" cross and a DRK decal on the same helmet.

I agree with Mike 1000%! I am not a believer in the round bottom DRK decals, and am not aware of a single period photo of one. To me this helmet is one to avoid. Jim G.
