I Like this helmet. Not a relic, by any stretch-it is just a decent original M42 with a not so good but totally original liner. Could use a nice well worn to match chinstrap, but there's a whole lot Worse out there! Even the decal is looking good. Not minty, but Not a beater, either! Definitely Been There and saw History! If one only could know the memories this lid must have went through! It will look Iconic sitting on the shelf and will display Great! Nice!

Nice been there helmet that's nowhere near a relic condition. Good grab for your first. Now you will want an M40, M35, then a LW, maybe a police, an SS, oh the list goes on and on and on. Next thing you know you have a wall full.
