A recent birthday present to my self, from Jules L., a combat weight commercial droop bill Fire Police helmet with screen vents, chin strap and a commercial M26 liner affixed with hollow core rivets. It appears that the rear seam of the leather liner band may have been restitched, but I don't think the liner has ever been out of the shell. The liner is named and has tabs for a leather neck flap. The best parts of the helmet are the original TR period metal Police insignia plaques, correct for the helmet, but not the ones that were originally on the piece. When acquired by Jules the helmet was as is with the exception of the absence of the insignia. The tri color shield is quite rare, and the static swastika shield is virtually unobtainable, but Jules found a set through a mutual friend. It is a rare one, and now complete. Hope you like it. Jim G.
