Considering this my first helmet purchase if Authentic.

I am looking at purchasing this Police helmet. Before I purchase it I have a personal committment to get expert opinions from this site. Sir Payne and Cricket Chris have been most helpful. the seller was very quick to get closeups so from my first impression this is a legitimate helmet with authentic decals. He lives 10 minutes from me so I will inspect in person first as well. Lets test my knowledge so far. So gents here are the pics.

I forgot to ask what a rough value is on this helmet without the liner.

Looks like it was repainted after the decals were applied, and then the decals were dug up again?

I mean that the decals were under the paint, then the paint was removed.

Yes You can see a lip around decal. But do you think decal is authentic.

IMO more likely that the decals were masked out then shell repainted.
