DD m35

hi guys havent put something up in awhile so i thought i would post my latest acquisition wich is this rather salty DD m35 heer got this and a relic conditioned m40 from norway for about 120$ wich i thought was realy nice for especially this one

and i have question the overlaying rust is it removable and is it birdshit on the top or am i just mistaking?

has this been a reissue? i can see faint traces of a swastika shield under the heer eagle shield well red paint and an inprint of where it was

I see 2 shades of green, camo of some sort or a field overpaint. I see outline if another decal over the Heer one, or thats an outline of a Heer over the party shield; but its a party shield for sure IMO. Do not try to remove the rust, you will ruin it. Nice helmet as it sits here, no need to alter it

thanks for the reply what do you think it could have been during the party shield because sadly the other side is to corroded to see but if i tilt it to some light it shows a faint outline a bit to the left under the tricolor
