Someone did a really nice catch.. Maybe we will see it listed somewhere soon where the price has been doubled.
A new member on GHW saw it an won it. Ironically he discovered he apparently knew the seller from local swap meets and got a real good deal. Sometimes things are just meant to be.
The question is - why would you contact the seller after the auction had ended and talk money, sounds like you were trying to interfere or steal it away. I have no horse in the race as I don't know either the buyer or seller and was not bidding - but its seems to be a bit of unnecessary muck raking or petty jealousy after the fact. Bad form.
I just wanted to chime in here and tell you what a scumbag thing that was to do! I don't care if you guys kick me out for posting this reply, but I question the Integrity
of a forum where only one guy called him out for trying to snake that helmet out from under the guy who won it! Bad Form Indeed! That is the nicest way of putting it,
I could think of a few other terms, but I wont post them here.Good Day
I think the two posts above me are getting a little ahead of themselves. Nowhere does it say a second offer was made to try and acquire the lid.
Don't worry. About a thing. 'Cause every little thing. Is gonna be alright.
